IMDb 8.2 (83% Rotten Tomatoes), 2020

Today’s extraordinarily shifting technology world brings about two conflicting viewpoints toward the future: the excitement from the coming new technology era and the fear of the unknown. Many say the source of fear is ignorance or unawareness. This tv show relieves viewers from the anxiety and instead fill viewers with excitement about the world we are soon to be seen.
The basic plot of the show begins when Nathan Brown is forced to choose to go to artificial heaven created by computer technology afterlife. Human created digital afterlife by scanning the soon to be dead person’s brain. The digital heaven is the solution people come up with as the “real” afterlife is still unknown.
Overall, the show is bright and pleasant. While its romantic and comical scenes bring pleasure to the viewers, it constantly brings about discomfort arising from innovative technology, the social gap between rich and poor, and, also, the nature of human life.
The show is set in 2033, but it feels as if only the future technology has been transferred to today that we live in.

Allows viewers to fully empathize with the music and the mentioned celebrities! Uptown Funk!

There are always those who accept new technologies and those who don't.

Future cars are fully autonomous. All the windows are digital screens.

The computer monitor is still the same as today. Is it because of the sponsor?

The Covid-19, in my opinion, will eliminate office commuting life. I guess the show writers think otherwise.

However, the phones show a whole new technology. I don't think this is going to happen in the future. Would this really become possible?
This is a show that viewers can empathize with characters with today’s sentiments, experience future technology, and see the conflicting ideas towards a new environment as we move forward. I would also recommend Upload to those who like the show that starts lightly but gradually builds tension to allow viewers to immerse in.
